Step #8 in the 12-Step Program.

Telephone InterviewDuring the 8th step of the World2Work® program, you will learn some major telemarketing principles including proper phone etiquette, smiling when you dial and developing a script. These apply to both telephone and video interviews. The caveat is companies are increasingly using telephone and video interviews to screen out candidates due to the high costs of face-to-face interviews. Therefore, you need to perform well in order to continue to a face-to-face interview since no one has ever been hired on the phone.

One problem during either video or telephone interviews is you will not have all of your senses available to impress during your interviewing presentation. Research shows that the more senses you successfully apply during an interview, the better your interviews will be. Since you will not be able to apply as many senses to your interview, you will need to master those you can apply.

Depending upon your resources you can employ a wide range of practices ranging from hiring a telemarketing expert to reading a book on telemarketing. In any case, skillful telemarketing skills will help you ace your phone or video interview.

Our exclusive training helps you better sell yourself during the all-important job interviewing process. These added skills help separate you from the competition and increase your chances of landing that ‘ideal’ job.

I offer both private, individual coaching sessions as well as attendance in a one-hour virtual coaching and mentoring group virtual seminar at a low, low investment of $19.95.
